With a big kick off Friday, November 30th the show will be open every Friday and Saturday through the month of December. The doors open to a Winter Wonderland of holiday decorations inside and out of the Historic Depot, beautifully decorated trees with model trains of every size running on several different layouts from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Each Friday and Saturday a special Christmas story for children will be presented at 7 p.m. Santa will be at the show every night through the 22nd so children of all ages can talk to him and his helpers.

The River Walk and El Paseo de Santa Angela are all aglow with a spectacular array of Christmas lights in the month of December. More than 4 million Christmas lights are lit each night, many illuminating large-scale animated scenes, trees and the 12 days of Christmas. Tour starts at Abe and 1st streets. FMI call 325-655-5000.

Presented in Living Black and White , CROSS STAGE RIGHT: DIE! is part of the series of plays featuring Harry Hunsacker, the would-be actor turned would-be detective; his assistant Nigel Grouse; and Lt. Foster of the real police. The action takes place backstage at the Republic Theatre on Broadway in 1942. In just a few hours the curtain will rise on a new play by Clayton Farrell (called Box Office Poison ) but someone has murdered famed director Douglas Mallory. Who would want to kill Douglas Mallory?

A Texas artist and native of Del Rio raised on Mexican food and discount beer, Hank Billings came into his own as a songwriter in the bars of College Station, Tex. Known as one of the best guitar players in the Texas music scene, Keith Davis has been on the road as a sideman for many well known Texas artists, such as Kevin Fowler, Django Walker, Larry Joe Taylor, Brandon Rhyder, as well as many others. In December of 2006, this six-year veteran knew the time had come to step out of the sidelines and into the spotlight. The Keith Davis Band has now been touring with a full schedule since January 2007, and things are sure to pick up even more with the release of his new album, Answered Prayer.
