The San Angelo Cultural Affairs Council proudly presents the 24th Annual Texas Wine and Food Festival. The three-day event, which includes a Gourmet Dinner and the Tasting Finale, funds art in San Angelo. For more information, call the San Angelo Cultural Affairs Council at 325-653-6793.

Annual Spring show by the Central High School dance team. Tickets cost $5 if purchased in advance at Central High School; $7 at the store. The Tex-Anns formed in 1956 and are the oldest high school dance team in the state. The squad dresses in shimmering orange and blue uniforms with white cowgirl hats and boots, and performs throughout the school year at Central sporting events and marches in the San Angelo Rodeo Parade. Last year, they were invited to march in Gov. Rick Perry's inauguration parade. Call 325-659-3441 for more information.

"Born and raised in Oklahoma, Jamie grew up on a working dairy farm owned by his family. He cut his teeth on gospel music singing with his mother while she played the piano. After eight years of getting his musical education in Oklahoma honky-tonks, Jamie ventured out East to Music City. With little more than a couple hundred dollars and a lot of pride, he rolled into Nashville but found that the city doesn't always welcome real country singers with open arms.
