Thanks to Tip Information, A Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive No Longer Walks Free

 

AUSTIN – As a result of tip information, Michael Thomas Osborn, 46, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, is now in custody after U.S. Marshals captured him on August 21 in Florida. Osborn was wanted for two counts of indecency with a child, said a Department of Public Safety (DPS) press release.

DPS officials said a $7,500 reward will be paid to the individuals (s) who helped with Osborn’s capture. Based on this tip, the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force coordinated with the U.S. Marshals Service Florida/Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force to locate and arrest Osborn at a motel in Lantana, Florida.

Osborn’s criminal history includes possession of child pornography and aggravated assault against a public servant. For more information, click here.

Thus far in 2015, DPS and other agencies have arrested 22 Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including 16 offenders, and $53,500 in rewards have been paid for tips that resulted in arrests.
