FORT WORTH, Texas – U.S. Attorney John Parker of the Northern District of Texas announced Wednesday that a former correctional officer at the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) in Fort Worth pleaded guilty this morning in federal court to one count of sexual abuse with a ward, said a press release.

According to the release, Rudy Ramon, 54, of Grand Prairie, Texas, entered his plea before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey L. Cureton, and faced a maximum statutory penalty of 15 years in federal prison and a $250,000 fine.
