ABILENE, TX - The father of an alleged sexual assault victim went to jail and faces aggravated assault charges after he beat up a Rising Star registered sex offender.
Officials with the Rising Star Police Department said Dustin Abrams attacked Larry Smith at a social gathering on his property Friday night. According to witnesses, Abrams witnessed Smith "inappropriately" touching his 3-year-old son after he placed him on his lap.
The mother of the alleged 3-year-old victim, Rachel Whorton, told a local media source that Abrams did not intend to cause the damage he did, but felt "he had to protect his family."

If this was me and my husband.....the outcome would have been the same if not worse. Being a victim of rape.....its the worst thing to ever go through. I would rather be set on fire a thousand times than to go through that again. CUDOS to the father. If more people would do this instead of letting the law handle it.....i can almost guarantee these damn child molesters will start thinking twice before committing this crime.
