SAN ANGELO— A San Angelo man has pleaded guilty to indecency with a child by exposure in district court Monday.
Christopher Garcia, 40, of San Angelo, has taken a plea deal for Indecency with a Child, a lesser charge than his original charge of Sexual Assault of a Child. According to court documents, in July 2016, Garcia got the child younger than 17 to expose herself to him.
In exchange for a guilty plea, Garcia was sentenced to two years deferred adjudication probation and must register as a sex offender for the next 10 years.
The Sexual Assault of a Child charge will be dismissed.
