4B Wild West Bike Rally Event to Benefit Veterans

If you love a good old fashioned biker rally, Brownfield, Texas is the place to be this weekend starting today, and running through Saturday night. There will also be an 8 a.m. Sunday morning church service.

Founders Steve and Anita Trevino hold several of these events throughout the year (click here) to benefit various causes, and the proceeds raised for this one will go towards helping veterans. This rally will have a Halloween and Dia de los Muertos costume theme.

CEO of the 4B Wild West Bike Rally organization Carrie Hickson said, "We've been doing this event for the last three years. Last year, we had between 1,500 and 3,000 people come out and are hoping this one is even bigger."

The event will take place at 1761 Country Club Rd. in Brownfield, Texas. Hickson said, "It's $30 to get in the gate, and we'll have a lot of stuff going on. There will be a total of 10 live bands, playing both nights, including Early Morning Reign, TY-DY-Hayz, Home Grown Boyz, and Stoney James."

As far as a traditional altar for the Dia de los Muertos theme, she added, "We always list our fallen brothers and sisters onstage during the rally."

"There will be a costume contest on Saturday along with a poker run, as well as all the fun things that go along with an old school rally: bike games, burnout contest, swap meet, vendors food booths, and so much more, including free camping. Our events are for adults, so only 18 and older will be admitted," Hickson said.
