Ringling Brothers Circus to Benefit San Angelo Area Volunteer Fire Departments

Fun with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey’s® Zing Zang Zoom® Gold Edition circus will result in funds for San Angelo-area volunteer fire departments.

The City of San Angelo and Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey are working together to help volunteer fire departments after the recent wildfires. One dollar of every ticket sold for opening night on Thursday, June 9, of Zing Zang Zoom at Foster Communications Coliseum will be donated to the San Angelo Area Foundation, which is raising funds to help support area fire departments.

Except for VIP seating, all opening night tickets cost $10. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

A discount for opening night means helping a good cause while having fun at The Greatest Show on Earth. Tickets are available at www.sanangelotexas.us/civicevents, the McNease Convention Center box office, 500 Rio Concho Drive; Blair’s Western Wear, 4230 Sherwood Way; Goodfellow Air Force Base’s ITT office; Elite Physique, 3109 Knickerbocker Road; the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo office, 200 W. 43rd St.; or by calling 325-658-6464.

Other showtimes are:

  • 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 10.
  • 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, June 11.
  • 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 12.

VIP floor seats cost $30 and reserved seats for the June 10-12 performances are $15.

Please research animal circuses before thinking of taking your children to them. Both of these companies are notorious for abusing their elephants. A simple youtube.com search will yield dozens and dozens of abuse videos.
