The Ins and Outs for Friday's Central High School Playoff Game

 

Central’s Varsity Football players are heading to the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas this Friday to make school history on the Cowboys’ playing field during their match up against Denton Guyer. For people who are interested in attending the game, here is the information you need for that road trip to support the Bobcats.

  • Ticket prices for rounds 3 and 4 are $12
  • Tickets may be purchased this week and on game day at the AT&T Stadium, and online at Ticketmaster.com, or click here.
  • The AT&T Stadium North Ticket Office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
  • Everyone over 1 years old must have a ticket to enter the stadium.
  • Current THSCA passes are valid for 1 admission, not District Admin. or ISD employee passes.
  • There is a $10 per car parking fee at the stadium.
  • Parking lots and ticket booths will open at 4 p.m. on Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. (Note: For earlier games, the lots will open 1.5 before game time).
  • Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. ((Note: For earlier games, the doors will open 1.5 before game time).
  • There will be 45 minutes in between games. If games end early, the next game will begin at the published time.
  • Central Varsity will be on the south side of the field, and fan parking lots will be 5,6,7, and 11. Visit http://stadium.dallascowboys.com/guests/parkingMap.cfm to view the stadium parking lot.
  • Only Entries C and H will be operational for high school games. Entry C is located on the east end of the stadium, and Entry H is located on the west end of the stadium. Fans will be able to access both sides of the stadium from both entries.
  • The seating plan for this event is general admission, except for select sections on each sides reserved for marching bands. Fans can choose from seating on three levels: Hall of Fame, Hall of Fame Mezzanine and Main Concourse, which combine to feature nearly 27,000 chairback sets.
  • Only approved merchandise may be sold in and around AT&T Stadium.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the stadium (includes all smoking tobacco, e-cigarettes and vaporizers). There are, however, designated smoking areas available outside Entries C and H, and smokers much be at least 50 feet from the stadium entrance.
  • AT&T Stadium will be operating a minimum of two concession stands on each side of the stadium, with a plan to increase to four per side depending on the crowd. Concession stands will offer an assortment of stadium food and beverages. There will be no alcohol sold during high school games.
  • Tailgating Locations at the stadium are restricted to designated spaces only. These spaces include Lots 4,5,6,7,10,11,12,13,14 and 15. These designated areas are located on the perimeter of each parking lot and have a grassy area immediately behind the vehicle parking spot. Tailgating spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis.
  • Banners are allowed at the stadium if they do not impede the sightline of other guests. Banners may be installed immediately before the school’s game and must be removed immediately after the game ends. People many not attach signs to sticks or poles, and adhesives are prohibited. Cable ties, zip ties or elastic cords are suggested alternatives.
  • Excluding air horns, noisemakers are allowed at AT&T Stadium for this even as long as they are within UIL rules and in compliance with the stadium bag policy.

So now that you have read this nice long list, hopefully you’ll feel prepared for the regional playoffs in Arlington. If all works the way San Angelo hopes, Central Bobcat Varsity will move on to the quarter finals and play either Mansfield High or Lamar High. The boys are one step closer to the 2015 6A D2 Conference, so make it a good game Bobcats and have safe travels.
