Not that you give that much attention to franchises, but…it always amazes me what the hot new ones are. You see a McDonald’s on every street corner and think that’s gotta be the No.1 franchise, right? Well, it’s in the top 10, but not No. 1, according to a recent article from Entrepreneur.com. Not surprising, 7-11 has a tremendous worldwide presence and offers a very diverse line of products. McDonald's, while worldwide is basically the same products, slight variation from market to market, but little difference. I am curious as to where they pulled data from and what criteria set this list. If it is franchise owners as a total number I can easily see McDonald's being mid list. McDonald's has a lot of locations owned by the same individual(s) and affiliations with entities such as Wal-Mart could lower their numbers.
It's nice to see Jazzercise still holding on for home based business, now if only we could see a resurgence of Mousercize.
