Saturday night at the Scrub Pub, San Angelo was treated to the original yet classic rock tones of our very own Audiopath. Comprised of Brad Hansen on lead guitar and vocals, Ruben Carrasco on bass, and Ralph Stout on the drums, Audiopath have been playing together for almost three years now, though their musical lineage spans decades.

Originally from Austin, Hansen has been playing guitar, singing, and writing songs for over 25 years now. He has collaborated and played with numerous artists across the state. Stout is well known in the area for having performed with country music notables Johnny Dickinson, West Texas Outlaws, and several other well-known artists. Carrasco is the rookie, Stout says: He’s only been playing for 12 years, a tenure that speaks of anything but amateurism.

The band is well received each time they perform and they play several shows on the weekends in San Angelo.

“I think San Angelo is . . . just overflowing with bands right now. The scene is arriving finally in West Texas,” says Hansen. “Long overdue,” Carrasco agrees.

Audiopath have released a couple of demos, but has yet to release a full-length album. They will be going into the studio this month to record their next demo of all original tunes, which is expected to drop by the end of this month.
