Bleu Edmondson reveals most of his soul on his newest record “Lost Boy.” He says it is autobiographical, but in some areas he didn’t go as deep as he could have. The critically acclaimed record is the showpiece of his live shows now. He says the songs are the result of getting kicked around over the past four years, and then having time to reflect upon his mistakes and the lessons learned. In this Podcast, he reveals to us his meaning and reasoning behind some of the more popular tracks on “Lost Boy.”

Edmondson invited us onboard his tour bus after his performance at Graham Central Station is San Angelo for this in-depth interview in audio. This is what he says.

“You can absolutely call [“Lost Boy’] autobiographical. That’s the point. I don’t really care. That’s the way I look at it … I’m not trying to be the cool guy in the room. I haven’t come out with a record in a long time and by God, this is what really happened to me. And it’s not all cupcakes and rainbows. Life hurts. A lot. I watered it down a little bit probably. But I was pretty honest about a lot of things. You know that’s the most satisfying thing about this record. It came out and people ‘got it.’ Some people gave me a lot of crap about this new album, they said I wasn’t country enough. But I don’t care. If they don’t get it, they’re not invited,” Edmondson says.
