June 19, 2008 San Angelo’s River Stage on the Concho River will once again be the location for the annual music festival in September. Dubbed The Lonestar Music Fest, The Randy Rogers Band will headline the event scheduled for September 27, 2008.
Other Texas music artists already confirmed to perform include The Bleu Edmondson Band, Cody Hughes Davidson, Darren Kozelsky, Mark Mckinney, The Texas Renegade Band, and an up-and-coming Lubbock band called Brazos Stone..
Local bands will also participate in the event. The rock-country band Buckshot Bradley and San Angelo’s favorite female crooner Carrie Rucker. The Zach Edwards Band now based out of Fort Worth, but from Big Lake, will also perform.
The Lonestar Music Festival is sponsored by Lonestar True Country 92.9 FM and San Angelo LIVE! The event is promoted by local entrepreneur Cody Baker.
Tickets for The Lonestar Music Festival will be available starting August 1, 2008 at the San Angelo Coliseum box office, Elite Physique and Blair’s Western Wear. They are $30 each before the event and $35 at the gate.
Gates will open at 11 a.m. on the day of the festival. The last show will conclude at 12 midnight.

Its too bad that a place as well recognized as Blaines Pub in the Texas Music Scene, does not support other local organazations in their endeavors to keep this great music coming to our city. This is an event that will bring success to everyone including the Pub. Hope to see everyone there.Can not wait for the great time!!!!
