Mark David Manders is Back to San Angelo, TX
- Mark David Manders Interview 12/29/2010

Mark David Manders
Mark David Manders stories have sometimes taken on legendary status in the Concho Valley. He was the first band to play at Blaine's Pub back when Blaine's Pub was no more that just another bar. Since then, Plano native Manders has become somewhat of a fixture in San Angelo. He says he loves this town as much as his many fans and admirers here love him.
His next record, Hold My Beer and Watch This: Live at Blaine's Pub is "in the can" now, and scheduled for release in February, just in time for the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo. He hopes to have a live CD release party during the rodeo at Blaine's.
In the podcast interview above, Manders recalls a night in Acuña Mexico at the Hunter's Lodge that inspired him to write his "Three Fingers Tequila" and laments about a middle-aged man who chose a life as a musician as the inspiration behind "Suicidal Pigeon."
Manders plays at Blaine's New Years Eve 2010.
