Plateau Brewing Co., a locally-owned and operated Brewery and taproom, will host the third annual Plateauberfest event from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 214 South Chadbourne St. and in the adjacent parking lot.

Plateauberfest, a nod to the traditional German Oktoberfest, is free to attend and open to the public. Attendees can look forward to a variety of craft beer brewed by Plateau Brewing Co., live music, traditional German fare like brats, pork schnitzel sandwiches, pretzels, beer cheese, a host of German sides, fun activities and an Oktoberfest-style stein hoisting competition.
For this special event, Plateau Brewing Co. is once again partnering with Concho Valley Regional Food Bank to take on hunger in the community and to restock pantries ahead of the holidays. Plateauberfest patrons are invited to bring two shelf-stable canned goods to the event as part of a special event promotion. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Brewery’s German-style beers sold at the event will be donated to the food bank.
Plateauberfest is known for being a family-friendly event. Plateau Brewing Co. will partner with the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art, which will host arts and crafts for kids of all ages. The Junior League of San Angelo will be there with their ‘Kids in the Kitchen’ booth. And there will also be free face painting for kids! Attendees can peruse fare sold by West Texas artisans and take in live music starting at 1 p.m. Bands showcased include the Three Man Band, RB and the Whiskers and Tristan Graves.
