The White Rose Support Group is hosting a candlelight service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, in the White Rose Garden, located at Shannon Women’s & Children’s Hospital, 201 E. Harris.
The White Rose Support Group is devoted to giving sensitive care and support to parents experiencing the loss of a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or newborn death. The public is invited to join this special ceremony to remember these babies and families.
A Tree of Remembrance will be put up with an ornament placed on the tree for each child. In addition, a candle will be lit for each baby represented. Hot drinks and desserts will also be served.
