San Angelo’s VFW Post 1815 presents the Veterans of Foreign Wars Golf Tournament on August 26, 2023 at the Quicksand Golf Course, 2305 Pulliam.
The golf tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Several contests will be held in conjunction with the tournament, including a $10,000 Hole-in-One contest and a $5,000 putting contest - one of 10 feet ($5 prize); 20 feet $20; and 50 feet $5,000.
Sponsorships are $100. A full team is $500 and includes the $100 sponsorship.
One of the big draws is there are two hole-in-one contests. On hole #14, a hole in one wins two tickets to the Masters in Augusta, Georgia. The $10,000 hole-in-one contest is on hole #6.
