Millions Forced to Log Out of Facebook

UNITED STATES —If you are a Facebook user you may have experienced a malfunction when getting on the social media platform early Saturday. 

Facebook forced millions of its users to log out without any explanation. 

On Jan. 22, Facebook forced users to “log in” even if users were usually logged in.

The social media giant has been under scrutiny recently after banning numerous users including former President of the United States, Donald Trump. 

Speculators on social media think the log out may have been caused by a hack.

Others decided to just leave the social media app all together.

Facebook has yet to announce why the problem occurred.
