Veterans to connect with benefits, enjoy food, fun and comradery at San Angelo Resource Fair

- Why: To connect area veterans with benefits and services they have earned, plus enjoy food, fun and comradery
The Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) and Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) are co-hosting a free Veterans Resource Fair in San Angelo, Texas, on April 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will allow area veterans to connect with benefits and services they have earned, plus enjoy food, fun and comradery.
“Our agency hosts and attends veterans’ resource events across the state to bring services to veterans which improves their quality of life,” said TVC Chairwoman and Navy veteran Laura Koerner. “We partner with other government agencies, nonprofit organizations and others to make a one-stop-shop for veterans. We hope to see you in San Angelo.”

- With education benefits
- Find employment
- Start a business
- Connect with other veterans
VLB will share information about benefits it offers including:
- Land, home, and home improvement loan programs
- Texas State Veterans Homes
- Texas State Veterans Cemeteries
This free event is open to veterans, active duty military and their families well as the general public.
