Willella Ann Humphrey, 78, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2015 at her home in San Angelo Texas.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Shaffer Funeral Home's Sherwood Way Chapel located at 1939 Sherwood Way. Services are under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.
Ann was born on February 22, 1937 in Abilene Texas. She was predeceased by her parents Jesse Floyd Eblen and Miriam Eblen and her brother Joval Eblen.
Ann is survived by her husband, Robert Carlton Humphrey of San Angelo Texas; daughter, Carla Humphrey Bennett and husband Karl W. Bennett of San Angelo, Texas; son, Randy Clay Humphrey and wife Debbie L Humphrey of Bedford, Indiana. She also leaves seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; brother; James H Eblen of San Angelo; sisters, Mary Pinkert and Kay Pinkert both of Levelland and Jane Plymell of Odessa, as well as numerous other dear relatives and friends.
Ann loved her family, friends, travel, pets, dancing and her home. She attended San Angelo High School and married Bob Humphrey on February 14, 1954. Before traveling the United States she graduated from cosmetology school and was a hairdresser after working in retail for many years. They owned and operated HVAC companies in San Angelo and Winnsboro where she was the bookkeeper and office manager. After retirement Ann spent her time enjoying her husband of sixty-one years, family and home.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff of Interim Hospice, Comfort Keepers, San Angelo Community Hospital, San Angelo EMS, and many caring friends and neighbors for their thoughtfulness during this difficult time.
