Victor Omar Duarte, 18, of San Angelo, Texas and was unexpectedly taken from this world and went to be with our Lord on July 19th, 2017. Omar, better known as "Dirty" to his teammates, friends, and faculty, was born on September 18, 1998 and graduated from Central High School in May 2017. Omar's biggest passion in life was football and he devoted his entire high school career as a free safety for the Central Bobcats. Omar received the Special Teams Award his senior year proving that his dedication to his team and perseverance never went unnoticed. Omar was registered and excited to attend Angelo State University in the fall to pursue a degree in political science. His future was certainly as big and as bright as the Texas sky.
As a child, no fence was too high to climb and no street was left unexplored. In his quest for adventures, Omar was constantly making new friends and becoming the newest member of someone's family. With his charming personality and perfect smile, he could win over the hearts of friends and strangers alike. Music was also a big part of his life. Omar enjoyed all genres of music. Anything from 80's Rock to Texas Country. He had a song for every occasion and an outfit to go with it.
The quality of Omar's life far surpassed the amount of time he was given on Earth. He never let life's challenges break his spirit or prevent him from accomplishing his goals. Omar made every second count and any moment with him was sure to be a memorable one filled with laughter and love. He saw the best in everyone and simply wanted to make others smile. Omar's life is one to be remembered and celebrated. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
