Bridgett Kelly Strakos, 71, passed onto her Heavenly Fathers arms Tuesday August 1, 2023, in San Antonio Texas. She was born March 6, 1952, in San Angelo, Tx. to Allen L. Kelly and Dorothy Faye Kelly. She attended San Angelo Central High School and graduated from ASU.
Bridgett had a love for children and became a Foster Parent caring for twenty-eight children. This love led her to become a child protective services case worker and then adoption placement. She retired from CPS on May 20, 2014.
Bridgett was a loving, and caring person. She enjoyed being around others, dancing, and had a passion for oil painting. She enjoyed her daily reading of the Bible and attended Trinity Fellowship Church in San Angelo, Tx.
She is survived by her sister Brenda Kelly Bosquez (Marion) of Burleson, daughter Mona Lisa Wheeler (Michael) of Miles, Son Travis Gene King of Kansas, Granddaughter Dallas Baughn (Ash), grandsons Nathaniel Lohamn and Zackary Cook. Great grandchildren Sofia and Jonathan, niece Victoria Green, (Ray) and four nephews. Special foster children Connie and husband David, Shanna, and Mylinda. Stepson Dany Strakos (Charlotte), brother-in-law Dany L. Strakos (Shirley). Sister-in-laws Dianne Fussell (Jim), and Sylvia Andes (Herb). Step grandsons Robby and Ranger Strakos, Uncle and Aunt Jack & Linda Kelly and numerous cousins she loved very much.
Bridgett was preceded in death by her parents Allen and Dorothy Kelly; and her husband Rob Strakos.
