Kay Havins Clay, 77, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, in San Angelo.
Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Angelo Bible Church with Pastor William "Pistol" Hood and Pastor Jim Stanley, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clay was born November 4, 1946 in San Angelo. Kay has been a resident of San Angelo since 1998 moving from Robert Lee. Kay married Michael Clay on March 25, 1999 in San Angelo. Kay worked as the business manager for the Robert Lee ISD retiring in 2003 and later at H&R Block as a tax preparer from 2005 retiring in 2017. Kay was a member of Angelo Bible Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and dabbling in painting. Kay loved celebrating holidays. Kay's salvation through Jesus Christ was one of the greatest lessons she learned.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Clay of the home; her son, Greg Grim and wife Misti of Marble Falls, Melissa Herring and husband Jim of Stanton, and Shelbi Eugenis and husband Eric of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren, Ashley Hanes and husband Aubrey, Kyle Russell and partner Kali Mendez, Jared Russell and wife Lynda, Brittani Juarez and husband Hector, Christian Herring and wife Megan, Amanda Medrano and husband Lance, Amelia Duarte and husband Bryan, Jacob Eugenis and wife Abigail, Caleb Eugenis, and Emili Eugenis; 16 great grandchildren, Addyson, Avery, Audrey, Elijah, Judah, Silas, Acelyn, Jaxson, Aubri, Zoei, Aiden, Christian, Kannon, Sterling, Maisyn, and Madisyn; and three great grandchildren on the way, Jackson, Paityn, and Russell; a brother, Bill Havins and wife Judy of Pleasanton; two special nieces, Jan Havens and Linda Havins both of Dallas; many nieces, nephews.
