Troy Fieldon Noel, Jr., of San Angelo passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 80. He was born on August 26, 1944, in Brownfield, Texas to parents Troy Fieldon Noel and Bess Thompson Noel. Troy had one sister, Nancy Tussy.
In his formative years Troy attended Brownfield High School, West Texas State and San Angelo University. Troy entered the corporate world as a regional manager for Pizza Inn managing locations nationwide for 5 years. Ever the hard-working entrepreneur, Troy left the corporate world to become the co-owner of the Silver Dollar Restaurant in Lubbock, co-owner of Cecil’s Liquor in Lubbock, owner of Jo-Beth’s Liquor Store and a sign leasing company in San Angelo and worked with McGowan catering for many years finally retiring in 2023.
Troy had a huge number of friends with whom he enjoyed watching football, playing golf, cookouts, pitching washer and sitting on his front porch with his closest friend also known as the “Jackson Street Porch Puppies.” He also loved watching the Dallas Cowboys hoping every year was their year.
Troy was a loving, caring, devoted son, brother, uncle and best friend to many and we will dearly miss him! He was preceded in death by his parents Troy and Bess. Those left to cherish his memory are his sister, Nancy Tussy of Christoval, her children, Angie Bale or Christoval and Noel Knox of Wolfforth, great-niece, Rhiannon Bale of San Angelo and a wealth of dear friends.
A celebration of Troy's life will be at 10:00 A.M., March 24, 2025 at Harper Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Brownfield, Texas at a later time.
