She was born on December 3, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas. She met her future husband in the summer of 1957, on a blind date, and four months later they were engaged. On November 5, 1961 Delores and Stephen were married in San Antonio, a marriage of 64 years.
Delores is survived by her husband Stephen Pattay, daughter Alison Rieber (Jim), son Stephen Pattay, Jr. (Lee), and daughter Amanda Pattay Bartholomeo , granddaughter Sabrina Lake, grandson Joseph Bartholomeo (Kiersten), grandson Stephen Elliott, and great-granddaughter Lizzy Bartholomeo. She was preceded in death by her mother Delores P. Casey and her father William W. Sparkman
Delores was a longtime member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in San Angelo, Texas and a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
A rosary service will be held on April 23, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. at Johnson’s Funeral Home chapel. Funeral services will be held on April 24, 2026 at 10:30 A.M. at Holy Angels Catholic Church with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joseph Bartholomeo, Stephen Elliott, Lee Swift, Jim Rieber, Pete Nieri and Jack Price.
