Ramon Dominguez Resendes, 64, of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on May 1, 2026. Born November 24, 1961, Ramon was a man known for steady work, practical wisdom, and a sense of humor that could brighten a room.
Throughout his life, Ramon’s devotion to family remained at the center of who he was. He also found genuine joy in the things he could build, fix, and improve—especially cars. A great mechanic and an expert plumber, he approached each task with capable hands and the kind of know-how that comes from experience, patience, and a clear-eyed, honest way of seeing the world.
Ramon enjoyed farming, mechanics, poker, and dominos—simple pleasures that suited a man who valued good company, straightforward conversation, and a well-earned laugh. He was passionate about football and was an avid Eagles fan. Those who knew him best will remember his quick wit and the way he loved to make people laugh. His favorite saying, “Not a lick of sense,” remains a phrase many will hear in his voice for years to come.
Ramon is survived by his spouse, Carmen T. Resendez; sons, Javier Resendez and Bicente Resendez; daughters, Michelle Coppieters (Resendez), Delores Resendez, and Esperanza Funk (Resendez); mother, Naomi Resendez; brothers, Benny Resendez, Robert Resendez, and Jimmy Resendez; sister, Susie Escobar; and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Bisente Resendez, and three sisters and one brother.
