Milton Yates Arrott, age 93, of San Angelo, TX passed away on August 31, 2026. He was born to Cal and Lela Perkins Arrott in Orient, TX.
Milton’s love and devotion to his wife, Frankie, was one of the greatest parts of his life. He loved her deeply and faithfully, and their life together was built on love, commitment, hard work, and family. Frankie was his partner through the many seasons of life, and Milton cherished her. Their devotion to one another was evident to all who knew them. He was grateful for the life they shared and the family they built together.
His greatest joy, beyond his loved for Frankie, was his family. Milton loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren deeply. He was always there for them and could often be found at their games, proudly watching and supporting them. He never needed to be the center of attention; simply being present for the people he loved was enough.
Some of his happiest memories were on trips to Natchez with Mom, Uncle Sonny, Aunt Donna, and their beloved driver, Melanye Arrott Wilkinson. These special rips were filled with family, laughter, fellowship, and memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Milton lived a life that was honest, hardworking, humble, and full of love. He did not seek recognition or praise. He simply went about his life doing what he knew to do – working hard, loving Frankie, caring for his family, tending his land and animals, supporting his grandchildren, and great- grandchildren, and walking faithfully with his Lord.
His legacy is not measured only in the land he worked, the animals he raised, or the horses he trained. His greatest legacy is found in the people he loved and the example he left behind. He showed his family what it meant to work hard, keep your word, love your spouse, be present for your family, remain humble, and live a life grounded in faith.
Milton will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many friends. The lessons he taught, the memories he made, and the love he gave will continue through the generations.

He survived by his children Cherry Arrott Gentry, Cody Arrott and Kern Arrott and wife Sandra; grandchildren, Todd Gentry and wife Leslie, Tracie Kotzen and husband Michael, Cal Arrott and wife Riley, Will Arrott, Nathan Arrott, Jenne Arrott Albus and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Faith Charles and husband Thoren, Paige Dusek and husband Jake, Matthew Kotzen, Rowen Arrott, Hendricks Arrott, Baker Arrott, and Nash Arrott; great great grandchildren, Theo Yates Charles and Annie Charles; step-grandchildren, Haley Harris, Kelsey and husband Brett Dupree, McKinsey Dupree and Braxton Dupree; brother, Top Arrott and wife Danny and their children Zane Arrot and Jennifer Thorp; niece and trusted driver on trips to Natchez Melanye Wilkinson and husband Bob.
He was preceded in death by his wife Frankie Arrott; parents, Lela and Monroe Arrott; brother, Sonny Arrott and wife Donna and nephew Kit Lee Arrott.
The family would like give their deepest gratitude and appreciation to Robert Allison and wife Mimmie, Sheila Herndon and Ronnie Woods, Marcie Gomez as well as Brayden Park Memory Care staff Wendy Lorenz and Jashalyn Viroy and to Candy of Hospice of San Angelo.
