Permit Pending for a New McDonalds Restaurant in San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A new McDonalds restaurant could be coming to San Angelo if a construction permit is issued.

According to the building permit report for Mar. 2022,  a $750,000 building permit is pending to build a new McDonalds restaurant in the 1800 block of S Bryant Blvd. Also in the pending list of permits is one for  $750,000 for the current McDonalds location at 4330 Southwest Blvd.

San Angelo currently has two McDonalds, the southwest location and one at 6th and N. Bryant. San Angelo previously had four of the burger joints including those inside the Walmarts on the north and west side of town.

This will be third full brick and mortar McDonalds in San Angelo.

Abilene, a city with a similar size and demographics as San Angelo, currently has four McDonalds.

Once the permit is approved construction may begin.
