Here's What Happened to That Used Truck Business on College Hills

SAN ANGELO, TX — Texas Truck World has moved from the corner of College Hills and Ave. N to a new location at 1801 N. Bryant Blvd. The new car lot was previously Auto Wrangler and was under the ownership and operation of the Allbright family, notably Kevin Allbright, who managed the dealership for nearly 15 years.

The recent shift in ownership took place when Mark Burtenshaw acquired the property from Kevin Allbright, leading to Texas Truck World moving to the new address. Burtenshaw confirmed that the dealership had a "soft opening" last week but intends to organize a grand opening event in January 2024.

Specializing in pre-owned vehicles, Texas Truck World currently boasts an inventory of over 50 vehicles at each of its lots. Burtenshaw likened the business model to "the miniature Carmax of San Angelo," emphasizing their focus on providing quality pre-owned vehicles to customers.

With the move to the N. Bryant Blvd location, Texas Truck World ceased operations at its College Hills site. However, the dealership maintains another location at 1023 Caddo Street, adjacent to Central High School, which is expected to remain open for several more months.

Burtenshaw expressed confidence in the dealership's future, citing their yearly sales figure of over 700 vehicles and reaffirming their commitment to longevity in the local market.

Customers in the San Angelo area can anticipate a comprehensive range of pre-owned vehicle options and services from Texas Truck World as they continue their operations at their new address.
