New San Angelo Shop to Feature Hello Kitty, Labubu and Other Designer Collectibles

SAN ANGELO, TX — A new specialty shop featuring designer toys and popular character merchandise will open its doors in downtown San Angelo this weekend. Vivid Sky, located at 228 S. Chadbourne St., will hold a soft opening on Saturday.

The store will operate on weekends only, open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 7 p.m. The owners soon hope to expand business hours.

They also said the shop will offer a range of collectible items, including designer toys like Labubu, Crying Again, and Hello Kitty merchandise. Photos from inside the store show shelves lined with plush toys, boxed collectibles, pastel décor and character-themed accessories.

The owners, who moved to San Angelo eight years ago from the Dallas area, said the concept grew after taking their children to similar stores in the Metroplex and wanting to bring that experience to the Concho Valley.

They also operate VIP Nails on Knickerbocker Road, which they opened when they first arrived in the city.

The shop’s offerings may expand over time as the owners gauge customer interest during the soft opening.
