Dave & Buster’s Plans First West Texas Location in Midland

MIDLAND, TX — West Texas will soon have its first Dave & Buster’s restaurant and entertainment center after Midland Westridge LLC filed plans for a new location in the city.

The company on Wednesday filed a $7.55 million construction outline with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for the venue on Deauville Boulevard. Midland’s Planning and Zoning Commission approved the sale of alcoholic beverages at the future Dave & Buster’s in April.

The TDLR documents call for new construction on Deauville Boulevard. The Midland Telegram-Reporter previously reported the address as 6023 Andrews Highway, which is in the same area. All TDLR filings are preliminary and subject to change.

Construction is expected to begin Aug. 17 and be completed by July 2, 2027, when the 25,000-square-foot venue is scheduled to open.

Dave & Buster’s, based in Dallas, is celebrating its 44th birthday and has opened more than 160 locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, and Australia. Texas has numerous venues, but none previously in West Texas. Fans in the region previously drove more than two hours to Lubbock for the nearest location.
