WATCH: Katy Ties Richland Springs For Prestigious Spot In Texas Football History

ARLINGTON, TX -- For the ninth time in program history, the Katy Tigers are champions of Texas following the 51-14 win over Cedar Hill in the Class 6A Division II State Championship Game. 

Katy's win tied Richland Springs for the second most state titles in Texas just one behind Aledo who claimed state title number ten after a 56-21 blowout of Crosby in the Class 5A Division II State Championship.
