Inattention Near Sam's Club Causes Crash

By Joe Hyde, Nov 28, 2015

Police said that the driver of a black Chevrolet Sonic sedan blew through the red light facing Southland at the intersection of Sherwood Way near Sam’s Club and caused a crash this afternoon.

According to San Angelo police, the driver of the black car was cited for running the red light. A pickup was traveling west on Sherwood Way and the two vehicles met in the middle of the intersection. Luckily, no one was sent to the hospital, though both vehicles involved were towed to the junk yard.

Police said that the driver of the black car admitted to them that he wasn't paying attention.
