Unsafe Lane Change Causes Collision Between Toyota and GMC

A Toyota Tundra and GMC SUV collided this evening after a driver made an unsafe lane change on Beauregard and Koenigheim.

San Angelo Police Officer Joshua Loudermilk said the blue Toyota Tundra was traveling northbound on the far left lane on the west side of the road next to the curb.

Witnesses at the scene said the driver of the white GMC changed lanes left into that lane and collided with the Tundra.

There were two occupants in each vehicle, and one of them, a female juvenile in the Tundra, suffered minor injuries, but refused to go to the hospital. A younger female occupant in the GMC was transported to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Drivers want to avoid the area of S. Jefferson and Beauregard as the crash gets cleared up.
