Loraine Man Killed in Deadly Car Crash

 

NOLAN COUNTY, TX  – A single motor vehicle crash left a 38-year-old Loraine man dead this weekend.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said in a statement that a Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling westbound on I-20 when it veered off the north side of the road Sunday night. The SUV then spun out of control and rolled over about six miles west of Roscoe, Texas.

The driver of the Tahoe was Anthony Antonio Aguilar of Loraine, Texas. Aguilar was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing his seat belt. The passenger, a female, was treated for injuries sustained during the accident and released at the scene. She was wearing her seat belt.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. No other vehicle was involved in the crash.
