DRUNK DRIVER REAR ENDS ASU POLICE CAR:

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Late Saturday night, an ASU officer was stopped at the traffic light at W. Ave N and S. Johnson when their patrol unit was struck in the rear by a Ford truck. No one was injured but the driver of the truck was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. The patrol car suffered extensive damage to the rear door and bumper.

To avoid any appearance of conflict of interest, the accident was investigated by San Angelo Police and the drunk driving investigation and arrest was made by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
