18-Wheeler Crash Blocks Concho County Highway

Paint Rock, TX – An 18-wheeler carrying a load of pipe crashed about two miles south of Paint Rock in Concho County blocking SH-83 Tuesday morning. 

Here is a statement from the Concho County Sheriff's Office: 

"We are currently working a wreck on 83 just 2 miles south of Paint Rock. The road is blocked off and there is no ETA as to when it will be cleared. Please take alternate route if travel is necessary that direction.

The accident reported this morning is still under cleanup - an 18 wheeler had turned over this morning and was carrying pipe which is scattered all over the roadway - the truck has now been turned back over and is being removed, cleanup of the pipe will take some time and the roadway is still shut down at this time. We will update when the road is cleared."
