WATCH: Firefighters Save Home in East San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – At around 2 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 14, firefighters with the San Angelo Fire Department and officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 1100 block of Preusser for the report of a structure fire.

Police arrived on scene first and officers relayed to dispatch that the fire was in the back of the house in a garage near the alley.

Multiple ladder trucks were called to the scene to put out the fire. By 2:30 p.m. firefighters extinguished the fire.

The house itself never caught on fire but a garage in the back of the property did.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
