WATCH: Three Car Pileup Sends One Driver to the Hospital with a Broken Bone

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – A three vehicle pile up on the Houston Harte Frontage Rd. Wednesday afternoon sent one driver to the hospital with a broken bone. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Loudermilk, a Ford F-350 pickup pulling a cattle trailer was parked at the stop light eastbound at Glenna St. and a Toyota Tundra pickup was stopped behind the F-350.  A Saturn passenger car was approaching the vehicles stopped at the light.  

The driver of the Saturn failed to control speed and crashed into the Tundra Pushing it into the back of the trailer.

The driver of the Saturn was transported to Shannon Medical Center by ambulance with a broken bone and non life-threatening injuries.  

Officer Loudermilk says the Saturn driver was cited for failure to control speed and for no insurance.
