Driver Not Wearing a Seatbelt Killed in Rollover Crash

ODESSA, TX – A 41-year-old Odessa man was killed during a fatal crash on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Department of Public Safety, Jarone R. Jackson was traveling in a Nissan Altima on FM 1936 when attempted to pass a Ford Edge.

Jackson would ultimately crash into the Edge and leave the roadway and roll. Jackson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Medical Center Hospital. He would ultimately succumb to his injures.

The driver of the Edge was not injured in the crash.
