WATCH: Driver Suffering Possible Medical Issue Crashes into Utility Pole

SAN ANGELO – The driver of a black SUV was injured in a single vehicle crash on 15th St. at N. Chadbourne St. Friday afternoon. 

According to San Angelo Police Department Traffic Division investigating officer Long, the SUV was westbound on 15th St. when the driver suffered a possible medical issue and the vehicle left the roadway.

Officer Long says the driver suffered unknown injuries and was transported to the hospital by ambulance.  

The vehicle suffered significant damage to its front end and the utility pole seemed to be intact with little damage.
