SAN ANGELO, TX – The crash that occurred during the lunch time on Friday on the Houston Harte Involved a dog.
During the original article little information was known about the crash. At this time, the San Angelo Police Department has not released a statement on the crash.
Reporters on scene have confirmed that there were two crash sites involving multiple cars. The first crash happened on the west end of the bridge while the second crash occurred on the east side of the bridge. Both crashes were in the west bound lane.
The first crash involved a gray silver passenger car, a black passenger car, and a silver Dodge Dually. They all crashed in that order.

The second crash involved two white midsize SUVs and a black midsize SUV. Two ambulances were called to the second crash and as of now the extent of any injuries are unknown.
It is unclear at this time how the crash occurred but a dog was involved. San Angelo animal control was called out to the scene but it is unknown the extent of the canine's injuries.
A San Angelo LIVE! commenter claims she was at the scene just moments before the crash.
"OH NO!! I was merging on the highway there and saw this dog and stopped for it to cross but it was headed toward the highway and I was so worried he was going to get hit!!," said the commenter. "It had a leash of some sort hanging from it's collar like it busted out from being tied up somewhere."
San Angelo LIVE! has reached out to the police department for an official statement.
