Watch: 2 Children Injured in Scary Southwest Blvd. Crash

 

SAN ANGELO, TX –– A second crash delayed traffic on Thursday afternoon in San Angelo after a driver ran a red light injuring two children.

According to Officer Welch of the SAPD, a driver in a maroon Ford Fusion traveling south on Southwest Blvd disregarded a red light, crashing into a red Toyota Tundra traveling east on Sunset Blvd.

The preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the Fusion was unlicensed. All four occupants of the Fusion were transported to Shannon to be evaluated, but no major injuries have been reported at this time.  

Reporters at the scene observed at least two minors being transported in an ambulance. The driver of the Tundra was not injured in the crash.

The driver of the Fusion will be cited for driving without a license and disregarding a red light.
