WATCH: Armored Security Van Rolls Over on the Loop

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – An armored security van rolled over on Thursday afternoon between Wall and San Angelo.

According to our on-scene reports, on May 25, 2023, at around 2 p.m., troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety were dispatched to US 87 South and Loop 306 in response to a report of a rollover crash.

The crash involved an armored Loomis transport van that had rolled over at the intersection and a silver Ford F-150 which had front end damage. 

Scanner reports indicated that there was no entrapment resulting from the rollover. Currently, there are no major injuries reported. However, it was mentioned that the driver was experiencing chest pain and had recently undergone a stent placement procedure.

The Texas DPS is currently investigating the rollover. No official statement has been provided to reporters at the scene.

In addition to the DPS, Tom Green County Sheriff's Deputies and the Wall Volunteer Fire Department were called to the scene.
