Friday Morning Crash Raises Safety Concerns at Notorious Intersection

 

SAN ANGELO, TX - At approximately 10:11 a.m. Friday morning, the Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US Highway 87 North and FM 2105.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered both vehicles had veered off the roadway, with one in the barrow ditch area and the other on the shoulder. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries reported, and both occupants declined medical services.

Grape Creek VFD, in a statement to San Angelo LIVE, noted that crashes at this location are not uncommon, raising concerns about the safety of motorists navigating through this juncture.

The Grape Creek Volunteer Fire Department urged motorists to exercise an elevated level of caution when approaching and traversing this intersection. 

With a track record of routine accidents, the department emphasized the need for heightened awareness and adherence to traffic regulations to mitigate the risk of further incidents.
