Crash on Ave. N at Old H-E-B Sends One to the Hospital

SAN ANGELO, TX - A crash at the intersection of Sherwood Way and W Avenue N sent one person to the hospital Tuesday morning.

Officers dispatched to the scene found a crash involving a silver Chevy Silverado and a dark-colored Toyota Rav4. Preliminary investigations revealed that the Silverado, exiting the H-E-B parking lot, collided with the Rav4 traveling eastbound on Avenue N.

The 28-year-old Silverado driver was transported to Shannon Medical Center for evaluation. The driver received a citation for failure to yield the right of way when exiting the H-E-B parking lot.

Fortunately, the 35-year-old driver of the Rav4 emerged unscathed and did not receive any citations.

The Rav4 had to be towed away from the scene, while the Silverado had minor damage but was drivable.
