Crazy Crash Knocks Off Wheel

SAN ANGELO, TX — A crash between a white Lincoln Nautilus and a grey Kia SUV tore off a wheel and left it near traffic on Wednesday morning, February 14.

Check out a video of the scene below:

Around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, San Angelo LIVE! Reporters happened to witness the crash occur and then spoke to the drivers involved afterward to find out what happened. According to those involved, the white Lincoln Nautilus was traveling east on West Beauregard and was heading to turn left onto S Koenigheim Street when the driver struck the Kia SUV traveling South on Abe St. The Kia had the right of way, and the Lincoln failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

The crash’s aftermatch resulted in a bizarre scene with an entire wheel from the Lincoln left in the road near traffic. The two vehicles struck each other in a way that tore the entire rear driver’s side wheel off of the Nautilus’s frame.

No injuries were reported from either driver, but both looked to be shaken up. It is unclear now if law enforcement handed out a citation for the incident. Both cars were able to pull off of the road and did not impede traffic.
