Cadillac Driver Failed to Control Speed Before 3-Car Pile-Up

SAN ANGELO, TX — A woman driving a Cadillac rammed the rear end of a Chevy Malibu and the Malibu hit a pickup. Police said the issue was a failure to control speed.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes in the 4100 block of Sherwood way near the Buick Dr. intersection at 12:15 p.m.

Police said the Cadillac driver realized she was too fast as the cars in ahead of her were stopped at a light so she swerved to miss the Malibu to no success. The awkward angle she struck the Malibu positioned the cars in strange directions.

The Cadillac driver was rushed to Shannon ER. Police said they will interview her at the hospital to learn her side of the story before or if they will issue a traffic violation citation for failure to control speed.

No other drivers or occupants of the other vehicles were significantly harmed.
