MILES, TX — A fatal crash happened this Friday afternoon on May 24.
It happened around 3 p.m. at the intersection of Remington Rd and U.S. Highway 67, about eight miles from Miles, TX.
A white Chevy pickup truck headed towards San Angelo that was towing a trailer veered off the highway, went over an incline, and fell into place off the side of the road. There was damage to a tree located near the tire tracks leading to the vehicle.
Traffic is down to one lane and is being slowed. Firefighters were observed using the jaws of life to cut the door from the vehicle.
AirMed1 was initially called into the rescue, but the response was canceled.
A Justice of the Peace was also on the scene to pronounce the driver deceased.
