Afternoon Crash Sends 1 to the Hospital

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver was taken to the hospital Monday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Pulliam Street and North Baze Street.

According to San Angelo Police at the scene, the crash occurred when the driver of a white Ford Focus failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign while heading south on Baze. The Focus entered the intersection and was struck by a westbound truck traveling on Pulliam.

Medics transported the driver of the Focus to the hospital for precautionary measures. Police said her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

The driver of the car will be cited for failing to yield at the stop sign.

Firefighters, police, medics, and tow services responded to the scene. Both vehicles were damaged, with the Focus ending up off the road near a fence at the Old Bobcat Stadium.
